SOLE SOURCE NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD PACS MIGRATION/UPGRADE This is a notice that VBA s Montgomery VA Regional Office, Montgomery, AL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price task order on a non-competitive basis to Johnson Controls Security Solutions, 3601 Eisenhower Avenue, Ste 300, Alexandria A 22304, to migrate existing P2000 to CCURE 9000 at the Montgomery VA Regional Office. This requirement is to provide the following service: CLIN 0001: Contractor will provide all tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to migrate the existing Physical Access Control System (PACS) Johnson Controls P2000 to an Electronic Security Surveillance System (ES3) utilizing the Software House CCURE 9000 software platform. This migration is inclusive of additional iStar control panels, electronic locks, and associated request to exit hardware, PIV readers, Axis Control Center software platform, and Axis cameras as detailed below. The migration will meet FIPS201-2 and HSPD-12 compliance requirements for the Montgomery VA Regional Office located at 345 Berry Hill Rd. Montgomery, AL 36109. In accordance with Schedule 84 GSA FSS GS-07F-190CA). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing), small business size standard: 750 Employees. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available. All responsible sources that have determined that they can provide the same services may submit a capabilities statement addressing their specific abilities regarding this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
