Page 1 of 1 Under Statutory Authority Public Law 109 Sec. 502 and VAAR 819.7008, the Government anticipates entering into sole-source procurement negotiations with SCDATACOM a certified verified service-disabled Veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) for security camera system upgrades for the VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville, IL. This procurement will be a firm-fixed-price contract for one-time award. Upon completion, the replacement equipment will fall within the scope of the existing service contract with SCDATACOM. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about the available products and services to the Contracting Officer no later than 8:00 AM 5/26/2026. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements, including integration into existing service contracts.
Pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127(b), COs may use other than competitive procedures to enter into a contract with a verified Service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) or Veteran-owned small business (VOSB) for procurements. A determination that only one SDVOSB can meet the requirement is not required.
