AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a sole-source, firm-fixed-price procurement under statutory authority Public Law 109 Section 502, VAAR 819.7008, and 38 U.S.C. 8127(b) to upgrade the security camera system at the VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville, Illinois. The contract is exclusively reserved for SCDATACOM, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), with no competitive solicitation being issued. Potential offerors who believe they can meet the requirements must submit detailed information about their products and services to Brandon Harris at brandon.harris@va.gov by 8:00 a.m. Central Time on May 26, 2026, in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. Submissions must clearly demonstrate the ability to integrate new equipment into the existing service contract framework with SCDATACOM and include sufficient evidence of SDVOSB status through the VetBiz VIP database. The procurement does not include a competitive evaluation process, formal contract clauses, specified pricing, delivery schedules, or technical specifications; instead, award is contingent upon the vendor’s demonstrated capability to fulfill the scope of work under the non-competitive authority granted to SDVOSBs. All communication must be in writing via email, and telephone inquiries will not be honored. The contracting office is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but the place of performance is Danville, Illinois. No additional attachments, payment instructions, invoicing methods, inspection criteria, or contract administration details are provided beyond the requirement for SDVOSB verification and integration capability.
