NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, intends to award a sole source purchase order (PO) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339113 with SBA size standard of 750. Carlson Mobility, LLC, 413 Creek Crossing Dr., Georgetown, TX 78628-1904 has been determined to be the only source that can fill the needs of this requirement. The agency requires a powered wheelchair capable of traversing a variety of terrain, allowing our employee to allow field going duties of their position. The chair should have a joystick control and the ability of the employee to perform task from a seated or vertical position. The chair should include the appropriate equipment to transport to and from the worksite, carry additional tools and supplies, and be equipped with lighting for operator visibility. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price PO with a period of performance of one month. Delivery location to BLM Roswell Field Office, 2909 West 2ND Street, Roswell, NM 88201-2019 The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. BLM has only one known source for this procurement that is in the Government best interest. Interested parties must express their interest and shall submit their capability statement and any other information considered pertinent to the Contracting Officer no later than February 8, 2021 0800 MST. A determination not to compete the described acquisition will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. If no response is received that clearly demonstrates an ability to meet all requirements by the date and time set, BLM shall make award on a sole source basis to Carlson Mobility, LLC.
