This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing). VA has a requirement for approximately 11 Bedside Carts. The Waterloo Medical Carts reflect the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government s minimum specified requirements. Market Research has been conducted and it has been determined that any storage cart that meets the required specification will suffice for this procurement. The Contracting Officer will evaluate equal products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer.
