The Southern Regional Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract with E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company to procure BAX PCR (polymerase chain reaction) Assays/reagents for the Food Analysis & Diagnostic Laboratory (FADL), San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas. BAX PCR Assays are required to screen foods for Zero Tolerate pathogens which will be used in conjunction with the RiboPrinter System. DuPont Qualicon is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the BAX PCR Assays, the RiboPrinter System, and accessories/components therefore all rights are reserved.
