65--IDIQ Abbott Supplies for EP Lab - IC (VA-19-00081221) Notice of intent to sole source

November 19, 2019 NCO 23 Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole source a 5-year firm fixed price IDIQ contract for Abbott EP supplies to Abbott Laboratories, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The period of performance will be 60 months, The current support is being performed by Abbott, the physicians are trained on these materials and it is the physicians preference for these items. Services will commence January 1, 2020 and will end no later than December 31, 2025. This contract will provide continuity of mission essential support services at VISN 23 , Iowa City VA health Care System location. The VA requirements under this contract will include: EP catheters and support products The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113 and the annual size standard is 1000 employees. This notice is published for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive offers and a solicitation will not be issued, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements herein may submit a written response. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating the company s ability to meet the requirements herein without disruption to the critical Image Link services at VISN 23 locations.
