The VA Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN6) Central Acquisition Service intends to procure sole source with Cytyc Corporation, 85 Swanson Road, Boxborough, Massachusetts 01719, for supply items to conduct various tests using leased and VA-owned Thin Prep 2000 Processors located at the following VA Medical Centers: 508 Fulton St., Durham, NC and 1601 Brenner Ave., Salisbury, NC. These products include: Vials, Filters, Solutions, Preservative, Cytobrushes, Spatulas, and Thin prep PAP test kits. NAICS code 325413 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
