Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4 intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Hologic, LLC, 250 Campus Dr, Marlborough, MA, 01752, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1, to provide lab reagents and slides to the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS). Hologic, LLC is the only manufacturer and distributor of the supplies compatible with equipment currently being used at the VAPHS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS; a solicitation package is not available. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable, is more advantageous to the Government, and must be received by the Contracting Officer, in writing no later than October 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. EST. All inquiries and submittals must be sent via email to contact@example.gov . No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 325413.
