This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of current market conditions relative to NAICS 423450. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23), on behalf of the Central Iowa Health Care System, is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing a portable high performance digital ultrasound system. Background: Prior to issuing a solicitation, and pursuant to the Veterans First Contracting Program, the VA is trying to ascertain if there are any qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) with the capability of providing the below services: (Respondents are not limited to SDVOSB/VOSB concerns; the Government seeks to identify all potentially interested sources): NexGen LOGIQ e R7 Portable High Performance Digital Laptop Ultrasound System Description: VA-CIHCS has a requirement for: NextGen LOGIQ e R7 portable high performance digital laptop ultrasound system. Standard package includes LOGIQ e Needle recognition Software Option which provides precise and accurate display of the needle, anatomy and motion even in Color and Power Doppler. Linear array transducer hockey stick : 8-18MHz broadband, multi-frequency capability. Applications include: intraoperative and surgical procedures, small ports and vascular. Advanced Isolation Cart with 3 Probe Port: has ergonomic features including: 110Vtransformer, probe and gel holders, shelf for DVD-RW, shelf for Band W printer and clipboard holder. L4-12t-RS Wide Band Linear Transducer: have configurable button functions which can enable single person control and simplifying interventional procedures. LOGIQ e DICOM software option: can be used through LAN and provide print, store, multi-frame, modality worklist, verify, MPPS (Modality Performed Procedure Step) and storage commitment functionality. LOGIQ e LOGIQView Software Option: LOGIQView Software Option Renders a panoramic image up to 60cm for ligaments, tendons and muscles in long axis. NETGEAR A6210 USB ADAPTER: Wireless network adaptor allows for communication on a wireless network. Salient Characteristics (at least 5), the item must: be/ have/ do these things Must be portable Ultrasound system suitable for use in the Operating Room. Must have a transducer suitable for intraoperative use during vascular surgery. Must be approved for use in open wounds. Prefer transducers that can be sterilized by gas or steam, V Pro Max, or ETO. Transducers must be approved to be used with a sterile sleeve. Must have to transducers included, so there is a backup. Transducers should have configurable buttons/controls for single person use. Must have color flow mode. Must have power Doppler imaging. Must include on-site training. Must include software license. Must include wheeled cart to house the equipment.
