Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source firm-fixed priced contract Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a Sole Source firm fixed priced award to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, inc, in the amount of $130,586.50 to purchase urgent repair parts for the Siemens MRI Magnetom Trio Scanner at Madigan Healthcare System, Tacoma, WA. Siemens Medical Solutions, USA, Inc has the proprietary rights to all parts, service, and software on this system. This notice is not a request for proposals and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, contact@example.gov.
