65--NOTICE OF INTENT

The U.S. Army Medical Command's Western Regional Contracting Office in Tacoma, WA, intends to award a sole source contract to Asteres, Inc. for the procurement of the ScriptCenter MX-5 Patient Self-Dispensing Pharmaceutical System. The contract, valued at $60,850, is based on the proprietary rights held by Asteres, Inc., including ownership of all software, service, and maintenance associated with the equipment. This procurement will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13, specifically FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), which allows for sole source awards when only one supplier can fulfill the requirement.
