65--Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source

MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Tacoma, WA intends to award a firm fixed priced order under FAR Part 6.302-1 for Radiologic Skin Markers and allied supplies to Beekley Medical in the amount of $122,727.00 for a base period plus two one year option periods. Beekley Medical is the sole manufacturer and distributor of these products and has proprietary rights. The products are considered mission critical and are imperative to maintaining patient care. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Ms. Amparo Sierra at contact@example.gov . No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
