65--Notice to Intent Award

MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, Tacoma, WA intends to award a firm fixed priced order under FAR Part 6.302-1 for Paracentesis Ultrasound Training Model (Blue Phantom) to Advanced Medical Technologies LLC DBA Blue Phanton for the Andersen Simulation Center is the Headquarters Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington in amount of $110,751.39 for a one-time purchase. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Advanced Medical Technologies LLC DBA Blue Phanton has patent rights of these products. The Andersen Simulation Center is the Headquarters for the Central Simulation Committee (CSC) that has the mission of standardizing simulators and curriculum for 12 specialties at 10 MTFs that perform resident training across the AMEDD. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
