The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, under the Department of the Interior, intends to award a sole source contract to Northwest Marine Technology Inc. for the procurement of a Coded Wire Tagging Machine (CWTs), including injection and detection equipment. The purpose of this contract is to maintain compatibility and interchangeability of tagging systems to support ongoing hatchery program analysis and assessment efforts efficiently. No solicitation will be issued, and the anticipated award date is August 15, 2005. The decision to proceed without competition rests solely with the government.
