Full Description

Notice of Intent to Sole-Source This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is intended only for informational purposes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of 41 USC 253(g) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 for an ArcCheck QA System via sole-source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to the Sun Nuclear Corporation. The system will include the following: 1. MapCheck2 (1527 Channel, 2-Dimensional Real-Time Diode Array w/ PC Software Interface) 2. IMF-MC2 Varian Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This constitutes the only announcement and a written solicitation will not be issued.
