Full Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI is soliciting quotes to supply, furnish and install the following items for the William S. Middleton VA Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705: Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment and accessories necessary to completely furnish, deliver and install a fully-functional, fully-integrated system consisting of the booms, surgical lights, camera systems, monitors, flat panel arms, device control systems/platforms and digital capture for six (6) newly-renovated operating rooms (OR) and for a separate room to house integration components at the William S. Middleton VA Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705. Contractor shall also connect the system via LAN to allow the Chief of Ophthalmology to archive surgical pictures and video over the hospital network. Contractor shall, provide all technical operating and maintenance manuals, training for VA employees and, for one year after acceptance of the system by VA, technical support and emergency repair and maintenance service. Construction of the OR is currently underway. The Contractor shall complete delivery and installation within 60 calendar days after written notice from the COTR. Notice by the COTR may be provided at any time between May 1, 2011 and September 15, 2011. Delivery shall be F.O.B Destination. Drawings of the space are included as an attachment for reference. In its quotation, the offeror shall identify the specific equipment - including quantities and configuration it proposes to furnish, deliver and install in each OR, the Integration Room and for the connection via LAN in order to meet all the requirements of this SOW. In addition to price and other non-price evaluation factors (See 52.212-12 EVALUATION - COMMERCIAL ITEMS JAN 1999, VA shall consider, in selecting the contractor who provides the overall Best Value to VA, how well the offeror's proposed equipment meets these requirements. The Contractor shall perform to the standards of the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. Solicitation is for one (1) year. NAICS: 423450. Size Standard is 100 employees. This is a total Small Business Set Aside solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
