Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to enter into a contract with Cardinal Health 414, LLC, located at 7000 Cardinal Place, Dublin, Ohio 43017 for the procurement of Radium Ra-223 Dichloride Injection Medicine, which has a trade name of Xofigo. The authority for a sole source procurement of the medication Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals is the only manufacturer of an intravenous drug that contains Radium Ra-223 Dichloride. Radium RA-223 dichloride is the active ingredient in Xofigo, and there are no generic equivalents. Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals distributes the drug exclusively through Cardinal Health 414, LLC. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE IS NOT A SOLICITATION, AND QUOTES ARE NOT REQUESTED.
