Full Description

The Northern Regional Contracting Office, Healthcare Acquisition Activity North (HCAA-N), US Army Medical Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the procurement of surgical supplies to Smith & Nephew (Arthocare Corporation), 150 Minuteman Road, MA 01810. This proposed procurement is intended to be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i): Only one source reasonably available. Sole source determination is based on the need for surgical supplies that must be compatible with the equipment and instruments sets that are currently owned and being used by the Government at the Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, KY Operating Room. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339113 and the size standard is [500] No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Inquires will only be accepted via email to contact@example.gov. The government will consider responses received by 1:00 p.m., EST, 03/2/15. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
