The VA Network 22 Logistic Office intends to negotiate a sole source procurement in accordance with Far Part 13 with DS Diagnostics under authority of Far 6.302-1. This procurement is for two (2) Mini0Ves instruments. The system is unique and provides a 20 minute ESR instead of the 60 minute system currently being used. Additionally, the system uses a closed vacuum collection system, reproducibility & precision of quality control & patient samples, and has digital readings. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. The Government will consider all quotes received by 12:00 PM, July 31, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
