The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 5, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide Manufacturer or equal SonoSite Edge System w/Color Doppler, Harmonics, SonoMB, SonoHD, SonoAdapt, Clips HFL50x / 15-6 MHz. at Lamar National Fish Hatchery, Lamar, PA. This procurement action is being solicited as a Small Business opportunity. The NAICS code is 423450 Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers, with a size standard of $100.0 million. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Specification must include (in total with no omissions or exceptions) a 2D M-Mode display (or better); Color and Power Doppler settings (or better), Pulse Wave Doppler capability (or better); SonoAdapt automatic image optimization and SonoMB multi-beam imaging (or better); a 17 inch high definition screen (or larger), fully sealed water and dust resistant keyboard and trackpad; a high-frequency 6-15 MHz linear HFL50x transducer, support for other transducers; custom, padded backpack protects system and transducer(s); and a 5-year system and transducer manufacturer warranty including parts, labor, shipping and next business day service loaner if available, upon request. The system and transducers must be designed for in-field military use and meet current military specifications for field deployment.
