36C25018Q0538 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Transducer The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting from a single-source and VAAR 819.7007, Sole source awards to service disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Four Points Technology, 14900 Conference Center Drive, Suite 100, Chantilly, VA 20151, a SDVOSB), for a transducer. The 4-Way Laparoscopic 8666-RF offers an advanced laparoscopic ultrasound transducer that has built-in facilities for LUS-guided biopsies; RFA; Cryoablation; Microwave ablation; Flexible for difficult to reach areas; or Rigid for manipulating structures. The transducer is suited for the following applications: Intraoperative imaging; and Interventional procedures. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 5PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. - All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
