The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its VA Heartland Network 15 Contracting Office in Leavenworth, KS, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and other eligible small businesses interested in supplying the radiopharmaceutical agent Pluvicto for the St. Louis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This notice is intended solely for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to procure services. The Government seeks detailed company information, including business classification, technical expertise, and capability statements, to assess eligibility to compete for a future one-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Pluvicto, a specialized radioactive therapy used to treat PSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Pluvicto, identified by its NDC code, is administered intravenously and used in nuclear medicine to treat prostate cancer patients with specific disease characteristics. The anticipated procurement is expected to be set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses under Public Law 109-461, Section 8127, but if insufficient responses are received, the procurement strategy may shift to an alternative set-aside or open competition. Interested firms must be registered in SAM.gov and, if claiming veteran status preferences, also registered with the SBA's VetCert registry. Responses are due by June 18, 2025, and must be submitted electronically to the designated contact. The Government emphasizes that it will not reimburse any costs related to responding and is not obligated to award a contract following this notice.
