The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting an industry review and solicitation of feedback on the draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor (PPV) 2028 acquisition. This effort seeks to engage qualified vendors early in the process to help ensure the final SOW is clear, comprehensive, and structured to facilitate effective competition. The VA invites comments on various aspects including potential ambiguities in requirements, technical and operational details, distribution and inventory management, reporting and data exchange processes, risks, and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and alignment with industry best practices. This participation is voluntary, not a prerequisite for future contract bids, and no contracts will be awarded from this initial request. Respondents are requested to submit their feedback by July 2, 2026, at 11 AM Central Time via email to the designated VA contact, Karen Ade. Submissions should include company details, point of contact information, and relevant identifiers such as UEI and CAGE codes, along with any socioeconomic designations. The VA emphasizes that this notice is not a solicitation and participation will be used solely for market research and refinement of the SOW to support the nationwide delivery of pharmaceutical products to VA medical centers. The government will not cover any costs related to providing feedback, and all input received may be used to revise the SOW and inform future acquisition documents.
