The contract involves a sole source award for a firm-fixed-price purchase of a commercial off-the-shelf camera kit designed to be compatible with the Varian TrueBeam Radiotherapy system and the Bravos Brachytherapy system at the Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center. It specifically needs to integrate with the Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator control console and the Bravos HDR control console. The estimated contract value is $24,684.00. Market research determined that Varian Medical Systems, Inc. is the sole source provider for this camera kit, as no other compatible kits exist. The Government reserves discretion on whether to pursue competitive procurement, inviting responses only if there is clear evidence that competition would be feasible without impeding cost, timing, or mission objectives at Richmond VAMC. This notice is not a solicitation for quotes or proposals, and respondents bear no cost for their submissions. Questions must be submitted via email to the designated contracting specialist, with phone inquiries explicitly disallowed.
