THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Portland VA Medical Center intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source to: INTERIOR FUSION, L. L. C. 8380 BAY PINES BLVD 3RD FL SAINT PETERSBURG, FL 33709 The objective of this sole source award is for an Emergency Ook Snow Medical Bed order, due to Covid 19 to increase bed numbers, in order to protect staff and patients. Limited supplies available due to high demand of product, and urgency of delivery in order to provide protection to staff and patients. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 339113; the large business size standard is 1000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
