The contract will be firm fixed price and awarded using Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures under NAICS code 339113, with a size standard of 750 employees. This notice serves solely as an intent to award and not as a solicitation, with the Government reserving discretion on whether to pursue competition based on potential offerors demonstrating clear benefits. Delivery of the blood collection kits is required within 30 days of contract award to the Lebanon VA Medical Center warehouse in Pennsylvania. The contract scope is limited to the brand-name requirement of 600 kits described in the Statement of Need. The contact person for this procurement is Carol Zellman, reachable by phone or email for any questions. The sole source approach reflects the facility's critical requirement to maintain uninterrupted access to this specific medical device essential for orthopedic care procedures.
