THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS Notice of INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4, on behalf of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center located in Philadelphia, PA. The intention of this notice is to announce the negotiation of a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) for a STERIS SCS System with STERIS Corporation, LLC., of 5960 Heisley Rd., Mentor, OH 44060-1834. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used, and the resulting contact will be a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS Code is 339113 and the Size Standard is 750 employees for this procurement. This special notice serves as a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely based by the discretion of the Government.
