The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 16, plans to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Flaghouse, Inc. for the procurement of a multisensory room at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. This contract will be awarded in accordance with federal regulations authorizing sole source contracts when only one responsible source can meet the agency’s specific requirements. The anticipated award date for the contract is August 22, 2022, with the procurement classified under NAICS code 339113 and a small business size standard of 750 employees. Although this notice is not a solicitation or request for competitive quotes, interested parties may express their interest and demonstrate their capability to fulfill the contract requirements by submitting written responses by July 18, 2022, at 12:00 PM CST. Responses should include evidence of being an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or authorized representative, such as an authorization letter or proof of OEM status to support servicing, software access, updates, and warranty for the sensory equipment. The Government will consider any responses solely to decide whether to pursue a competitive procurement. All submissions must be emailed to the designated contact, Contract Specialist Jeneice Matthews, and prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. The Government will not be liable for any costs incurred in response to this notice.
