While we did our best to remove all proprietary requirements and references, it s inevitable some remained by accident. Please provide tech specs or brochures that show how your product is equivalent and it will be evaluated the same way. Can the VA SLC confirm that all patient monitoring equipment proposed under this procurement shall be factory new, and that trade-in credits may only apply to equipment being permanently retired and replaced as part of this procurement, not equipment currently deployed? Yes, all patient monitoring equipment proposed under this procurement should be factory new and trade-in credits may only apply to equipment being retired and replaced. The Statement of Work provided (Section 3.1 under Physical Monitor Salient Characteristics) the monitor should be fan-less PC using latest Window OS.  Are you willing to accept a fan-less PC that runs on a proprietary OS system?  Will you please change this requirement to include proprietary software.  We are open to a system that runs on a proprietary OS as long as that equipment is approved for use within the VA and is running on its latest approved version. Is the preference of VA Salt Lake City to have the transport monitor mounted below the monitor or behind the monitor?    It depends on the unit so some changes may be made after award, but generally we would prefer to mount the transport monitor below the main monitor. Are cable management hooks required for the monitor arm?  Yes. The Statement of Work provided (Section 3.4 Telemetry Patient Monitor) mentions a telemetry patient monitor, to clarify should this device be worn or a small wireless monitor that can be carried?      A monitor that can be worn is preferred. Please confirm whether the existing wall channels will remain in use or whether vendors are expected to quote and install new wall channels.  Vendors should quote for new wall channels and their installation. This number may be decreased after award depending on the wear and tear on the current wall channels.
