The contract involves the purchase of one unit of the fiber optic probe under NAICS code 335921, and will include all relevant Federal Acquisition Circular provisions. While this notice is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, the government invited responses and any information by March 27, 2013, for consideration. Responses were to be submitted via email to the contracting officer, Pamela Paradis, with no telephone inquiries permitted. The government reserves the right to make a sole source award decision based on the responses received. The performance location is Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, and the contract aims to support specialized scientific and technical operations with this highly customized device.
