This sources-sought market survey, solicitation number W31P4Q-10-T-0121, is issued by the Department of Defense via the USA Engineering Spt Ctr Huntsville. The government is seeking information regarding manufacturer capabilities for the future design and construction of an environmental test enclosure chamber. This is a preliminary inquiry to assess industry capabilities, and the government will not be answering specific questions regarding the survey at this time. Interested vendors must demonstrate their engineering, design, and manufacturing capacity to produce a chamber box that meets specific size, load, and environmental requirements. Submissions should include detailed data on previously constructed chambers, specifically focusing on environmental test capabilities such as temperature and humidity requirements, wall thickness, and R-value. Responses were due by April 23, 2010.

This amendment clarifies the response the government is seeking from potential offerors for this market survey. At this time the government is only considering manufacture's capabilities for a future purchase, and will not be answering any specific questions about this market survery. Vendors are expected to provide sufficient information to assure the Government that their company has the necessary engineering, design, and manufacturing capabilities to produce this chamber box when considering the size, load, and environments as stated in the synopsis. The company should provide the chamber size of previously constructed chambers with the chamber environmental test capabilities (i.e. temperature, humidity requirements, Wall thickness, R-value, etc).
