The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis Radio Frequency Distribution Units and associated equipment to be from Metris U.S.A. Inc., 12701 Grand River Road, Brighton, MI 48116. The basis for the sole source is that Metris U.S.A. Inc. is the requirement is an upgrade to an existing Vulcan system, and only Metris U.S.A. can provide the necessary upgrade equipment. The hardware requirements are as follows: CLIN 0001 - 1 Each of Product Code STDS-400-410 iSpace Sytem which includes 4 each of Metrology grade transmitters; 4 Each of Heavy duty tripods; 1 Each of Portable Workstation; 1 Each of Javeline probe; system installation and system training; and CLIN 0002 - 1 each of PDA Interface with Surveyor Client which includes 1 Each of PDA; 1 Each of Surveyor client license; 1 Each of Customized PDA interface to Surveyor; CLIN 0003 - 1 Each of Portable battery transmitter conversion which includes 4 Each of Customized transmitter box; 8 Each of Batteries, 2 per transmitter; 4 Each of Spare battery, 1 per transmitter; 4 Each of Battery Charger; and 4 Each of Hot swap circuit per transmitter. A firm fixed priced contract is anticipated. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination.
