Solicitation FA445209QA070, issued by the Department of Defense for the Department of the Air Force, seeks the procurement of two ICX STS-1400 high resolution perimeter surveillance radars and associated components. This open market procurement is designated as a brand name justification because the STS-1400 is the only model compatible with the existing STS-350 systems. The requirement is intended as a firm-fixed-price award and includes the acquisition of radars, mounts, cables, and commissioning services. The contract specifically requires the purchase of new PS-200 Control Station Software, as software upgrades are deemed insufficient to meet the technical requirements. All equipment is to be shipped to Scott AFB in Illinois, and the selected contractor must utilize the Wide Area Workflow for electronic invoicing. The procurement process includes a detailed CLIN structure covering the hardware, software, and necessary warranties to ensure full operational integration.
