USAMMDA needs to compare sensitive study data results. In order to accomplish this it is necessary that the same data collection approach, to include the same collection device, software, and training methods, are used across studies and data analysis organizations. The Eye Link 1000 is a tracking device that allows for objective measurement of eye position in response to specific visual target movement. Eye Link System includes perpetual software updates and technical support. Using identical equipment and test stimuli will allow the study team to access the experience other trials in configuring equipment, troubleshooting, and training of test administrators, and will permit data comparison between studies. Award to another contractor would result in significant delays and additional costs. Ultimately, these delays would result in clinical hold, potentially cancelation of the study and additional costs.
