Thermo Orbitrap Fusion HRMS and Vanquish UHPLCThe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through its office in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, has issued a notice of intent to sole source a maintenance service agreement for the Thermo Orbitrap Fusion HRMS and Vanquish UHPLC instrumentation. This action is based on the unique specifications and proprietary nature of the equipment, which necessitates service exclusively from the original equipment manufacturer to ensure operational integrity, calibration accuracy, and compliance with regulatory analytical standards. The solicitation number is 68HERF26Q0086, classified under NAICS code 334516 for laboratory instrumentation manufacturing and service, and the notice was posted on July 1, 2026, with a response deadline of July 15, 2026.
