The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following: 1) CL-20 material, 50 pounds (qty 1 lot). This requirement is sole sourced to ATK Launch Systems, Inc., 9160 N. Hwy 83 Corinne, UT 84307-9501 due to ATK being the only US manufacturer of CL-20. The crystals provided by ATK are 99% chemically pure with 95% epsilon polymorph purity. Any firms believing they can provide this material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm’s ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the material or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
