The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson plans to award a sole source contract to Kforce Government Solutions (KGS) for providing warranties on Patient Trauma FX Medical Simulators used at the Medical Simulation Training Facility. This procurement will be conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as KGS is the only authorized source holding the patents and copyrights for the simulators, and no other provider can offer the required warranty services. The contract is anticipated to cover a twelve-month period, with a firm fixed price, and falls under the NAICS code 326199 with a size standard of 500 employees. Although this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may respond by submitting evidence of their qualifications, technical capabilities, and pricing by the specified deadline. Responses will be evaluated to determine if competition is feasible, but the Government reserves full discretion whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. In the absence of qualified alternative sources, the contract will be awarded directly to KGS under the statutory authority allowing sole source acquisitions when only one responsible source is available to satisfy agency needs. All inquiries and responses must be submitted in writing by the deadline, and late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
