Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) Nextseq 2000 & 1000 Sequencing Systems: This ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that PHAC intends to award a contract for goods, services to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has a requirement for delivery and installation of (2) next generation sequencing instrument systems (“Systems”), FOB destination (Winnipeg), on behalf of the National Microbiology Laboratory Branch (NMLB)’s Genomics Core. The Genomics Core will apply these (Systems) daily to generate data for PHAC mandate-essential activities to prevent and control infectious diseases. Illumina Canada Ulc. is the pre-identified supplier. It is owner and developer of the NextSeq equipment/software and the owner of the IP.
