The U.S. Army 114th Signal Battalion plans to award a sole-source contract to DLT Solutions for a one-year renewal of AutoCAD 2012 subscriptions and maintenance packages. This includes renewing 10 existing licenses and adding 3 new licenses, along with Autodesk Gold Support Uplift and optional phone support. The procurement will proceed under the Federal Acquisition Regulation clause FAR 6.302-1, which allows sole-source contracting when only one responsible source is available, and no other suppliers can meet the requirement. This notice serves as an indication of the intent to award the contract without competition but allows other firms to submit a written statement demonstrating their ability to provide equivalent services if they wish to challenge the sole-source justification. Interested parties must submit their interest and rationale by a specified deadline to a designated contact within the U.S. Army's Acquisition Command at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. While responses will be reviewed, the government retains sole discretion on whether to open the procurement to competition. The contracting office will not reimburse any costs incurred in responding to this notice. This procurement supports the Department of Defense’s internal software needs, under the NAICS code 541511, and is managed through the ACC-APG Huachuca Desert Division located in Maryland. The accompanying Justification and Approval document further details the basis for this sole-source action.
