The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Ultra Electronics for specialized CPU and RTM cards, as well as power adapters, required for C41 Tactical Systems and Air Defense Systems Integrators. Because the requested hardware contains proprietary software and firmware uniquely compatible with the ADSI system, Ultra Electronics is identified as the only viable Original Equipment Manufacturer capable of fulfilling the requirement. This procurement is being conducted as an unrestricted action using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13.302-1 and FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). The contract covers the acquisition of one CPU card, one RTM card, and two power adapters with a delivery timeline of 60 days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. While the government intends to negotiate exclusively with Ultra Electronics, the notice allows interested parties to submit capability statements or proposals for consideration before a final determination is made. All responses were required to be submitted via email to the designated point of contact by the specified deadline in June 2017.
