The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Dix, NJ office intends to award a sole source purchase order to Fujifilm Dimatix, Inc. for procurement of the following: Dimatix Materials Deposition System, PN DMP2831, 1 each; Dimatix Materials Cartridge 10 pl PN DMC-11610; Dimatix Materials Cartridge 1pl PN DMC-11601; and training/application support. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition under FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Firms who wish to challenge the sole source intent must submit a capability statement of your firms ability to provide an equivalent supply/service. Responses must be received NLT 2 Aug 10 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Information received will be considered, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Dix office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
