Full Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the Department of the Interior (DOI), National Park Service intends to award 1 base year, plus 3 option year, Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Intermountain Advantage Solutions, for licensing and software/technical support for electronic cash registers at eight (8) campground fee collection points. Current fee management software and related licensing and technical support are proprietary to Intermountain Advantage Solutions. All current electronic cash registers run this software in order to provide the necessary connectivity and accountability required of the fee program. NPS is in the process of developing internal fee management solutions that at not available for utilization at this time therefore operational continuity must be maintained until the NPS Point of Sale system is available. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for quote/proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
