(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request for quote (RFQ)512009. (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-02. (iv) The NAICS code is 334119, the size standard is 1000 employees, and the resultant contract will be 100% set-aside for small business. Only offers for products listed in the National Security Agency's (NSA) approved Degausser Product List are acceptable. (v) Provide a price for each of the following three CLINs. (vi) CLIN 0001: 1 each Electromagnetic Degausser HD-1T. Electronic degausser must be able to purge data from a variety of electronic media, to include hard disk drives, digital magnetic tape, floppy disks, zip disks and other types of media on the market today. As a minimum, must meet DoD requirements for purging classified information on magnetic disk media up to 5000 Oersteds and magnetic tape media up to 2500 Oersteds. The product must be listed in the National Security Agency's (NSA) approved Degausser Product List as meeting these requirements. Degausser must be a floor-model version. CLIN 0002: Standard Commercial Warranty; CLIN 0003: One year extended warranty. Offerors should state whether or not government purchase card is accepted. (vii) Ship to DISA DECC Mechanicsburg, ATTN: Sharon Moeller +1 (555) 000-0000, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Bldg.308 North End, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050-0975. FOB destination; acceptance at destination. Delivery requested no later than 8 April 2005. (viii) FAR 52.246-1 applies to this acquisition.
