The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Natick Contracting Division, acting on behalf of the Natick Soldier System Center, plans to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to immixTechnology, Inc. for a 12-month Lotus Domino Software License Support. This support is essential for the PTS Installation services at NSSC and ensures compliance with relevant regulations. ImmixTechnology, Inc. is the exclusive provider due to its unique position as the sole source for IBM parts under the Department of Defense’s preferred ESI contract, making it the only vendor authorized to supply and support this software. Market research revealed that alternative vendors either offered significantly higher quotes or were not part of the DoD preferred contract, justifying the sole source approach. The services currently provided by immixTechnology are ongoing, highlighting the necessity of maintaining continuity and compliance with AR25-1. Although no barriers to competition are anticipated to be addressed prior to future acquisitions, interested parties were invited to express interest by a specified deadline. The contract is aligned with NAICS code 423430, representing computer and computer peripheral equipment wholesale distribution, and is managed through the Army Contracting Command’s Natick office.
