Illumina, Inc is the only source for the NextSeq 500, library Prep systems, kits and proprietary accessories that provides services related for maintenance and repair of Illumina products. Illumina, Inc. does not have any authorized distributors or providers to perform maintenance and repair on their instruments. These products are sold direct, and are available exclusively from Illumina, Inc. This requirement is for the following unique instruments: 1 EA NextSeq 500 Sequencing System 1 EA NeoPrep Library Prep System The NAICS code is 541511. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 10:00 am 30 July 2015, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
