NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT: The 316th Contracting Squadron/LGCBC, Andrews AFB, Maryland intends to award a sole source contract to CAMP Systems International, Inc. for a 1 year period to obtain Andromeda/Avisource Flight Scheduling Software and establish corresponding database for the Vice Chief of Staff, United States Air Force, Special Air Mission (CVAM). The CVAM database will support the Air Force?s VIPSAM mission (e.g. Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve units); however, it will not establish separate databases for each unit. CVAM?s goal is to have one scheduling database which houses and tracks all of VIPSAM assets. The database will be used for aircraft scheduling, passenger management, and aircrew information distribution. The contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and the Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
