This synopsis is notification that the Regional Contracting Office - Wiesbaden (RCO-W), on behalf of the HQ USAREUR G6 intends to solicit from and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, on a Sole Source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, to: Harris Corporation 1680 University Ave Rochester, NY 14610 Harris Corporation will provide delivery with ITAR-controlled TACSAT radio equipment to be compatible with existing Harris AN/PRC 117F radios inventory currently on-hand and is the only US Army PM approved tactical solution for TACSAT communications. The place of performance is: Mc Cully Barracks RSSA Wackernheim BLDG 6295 Ober Olmer Strasse 55263 Wackernheim, Germany This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334920 with the size standard being size. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 4.00 p.m. Central European Time (CET), 10.00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 26 August 2015, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
