Full Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center, intends to issue a sole source award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) to Imecom Group for software, hardware, training and installation for Intercom's DM Fax Connector for Microsoft Exchange. This is a sole source purchase because of the proprietary nature of the software and equipment and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency's requirements. Imecom Group is the owner of the copyright and no other source is known to have authorization for license, software, hardware and support. No solicitation is available. The proposed contract action is for services for whcih the Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
