The United States Secret Service (USSS) is seeking information from industry regarding commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions to support facility maintenance management at the James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC). The preferred system should efficiently track both routine and ad-hoc maintenance tasks across multiple buildings, provide automated reminders, generate overdue maintenance reports, enable role-based access with configurable security levels, and allow users to submit maintenance requests. Additionally, it should create maintenance completion summaries on various schedules, handle document uploads related to facilities, and support data import from external systems. The system must be web-based, ideally running on Microsoft IIS with a backend database compatible with Oracle 10g or Microsoft SQL Server, with a preference for Oracle. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gauge the availability and capabilities of existing software products and to foster industry engagement for potential future partnerships. It is not a solicitation or a guarantee of a contract but a voluntary opportunity for vendors to submit capability statements describing their software features, system requirements, customer references, and information necessary for cost proposals. Responses will be kept confidential according to applicable laws, including FOIA. Interested parties must submit their information by November 21, 2006, via email or mail to the designated USSS contact, Patricia A. Kiely. Questions may also be addressed directly to her via email.
