Full Description

THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR GNAT PRO ADA NATIVE SOFTWARE. BACKGROUND: The AdaCore GNAT Pro software licenses are specifically required by the Weapons Development and Integration Directorate of the Aviation Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, to modify and compile the operational flight software (OFS) for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) rockets written in ADA. This is to maintain existing licenses. AUTHORITY CITED- The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
